The Nigeria centre for disease control has confirmed three additional cases of the omicron variant of covid 19, Njenje Media News reports.
This brings to six the total number of cases detected since the 1st of December.
The NCDC says all recorded cases are from persons with recent travel history to South Africa.
Njenje Media News recalls that the U.K governnment placed Nigeria on red as it blocked all travels from the country.
