The Nigerian Senate has confirmed the appointment of Aghughu Adolphus Arhotomhenla as the new Auditor General of the Federation, Njenje Media News reports.
Recall that President Buhari had on Tuesday urged the Senate to consider and confirm Mr. Aghughu Arhotomhenla Adolphus as Auditor-General of the Federation adding that the request for confirmation of appointment was in compliance with section 86(1) of the Constitution of the Federal Republic of Nigeria (as amended).
With the new development, Mr Adolphus Arhotomhenla is now the subtantive Auditor-General of the Federation.
