As the November 8 governorship election in Anambra State draws closer, the African Democratic Congress (ADC) has called on its members to remain united and committed to strengthening the party’s base across the state.
ADC governorship candidate John Nwosu made the appeal while addressing party supporters in Orumba South Local Government Area, urging them to intensify mobilisation efforts to ensure victory at the polls.
Nwosu emphasised the importance of teamwork and grassroots engagement, noting that the strength of the ADC lies in its numbers and collective determination.
“Let us work together as a team so that we can win the election,” Nwosu said. “Talk to people out there to join our party because it is the biggest and main opposition party in Nigeria today.”
Also speaking at the event, Hon. Ben Nwosu, a member of the ADC Governorship Campaign Council and former Deputy Speaker of the Anambra State House of Assembly, called for cooperation with security agencies to ensure a credible and peaceful election process.
“Co-operate with the police and other security agencies to ensure a free, fair, and peaceful election,” he urged supporters.
In her remarks, the ADC Women Leader for Orumba South LGA, Amara Onuebu, expressed confidence in the women’s preparedness for the upcoming polls.
“The women in this area have been well mobilised to vote for the party, and we are confident that we will win,” Onuebu stated.
