AWKA — The Anambra State Government has invited market executives across the state to a crucial meeting with Governor Chukwuma Charles Soludo, as part of ongoing engagements on matters affecting trade and market operations in the state, Njenje Media reports.
An official notice issued by the Ministry of Commerce and Industry, and signed by the Special Adviser to the Governor on Trade and Markets, Chief Evarist Uba, directed all Market Chairmen and Secretaries, Zonal Chairmen and Secretaries, as well as Line Chairmen and Secretaries, to attend the meeting without exception.
According to the notice dated January 27, 2026, the meeting is scheduled to hold on Thursday, January 29, 2026, at the International Conference Centre (ICC), Awka, by 11:00am prompt. Accreditation of invited officials will take place ahead of the meeting, with all participants expected to be seated by 11:30am.
