The Nigeria Civil Aviation Authority NCAA has issued a letter stating that the Mallam Aminu Int. Airport Kano, Port Harcourt Int. Airport, Omagwa, and Akanu Ibiam Int. Airport, Enugu will remain closed to international flight until a new date is determined.

This is against the backdrop of the statement made by the minister of aviation Hadi Sirika who stated that international flights to Enugu will commence on the 5th of September, 2020.

It will be recalled that Njenje Media News had also reported that “Ngige, Ekweremadu, Onyeama, Utazi, Osita Okechukwu And Other NASS Members Land In Enugu Airport With Air Peace” which was commissioned on the 30th of August, 2020.

It has since been confirmed that the airport is not ready from the photos coming out of Enugu showing an uncompleted airport with the untidy environment around the airport terminals.
