Mr. Pascal Gabriel Dozie, CON, aka PGD, Founder, Diamond Bank Plc; Co-Founder, Africa Capital Alliance; Past Chairman, MTN Nigeria; Past Chairman,Nigeria Economic Summit Group(NESG); Past President, Nigeria Stock Exchange; Past Co-Chairman, Commonwealth Business Council; Past Pro-Chancellor, Pan-Atlantic University; Very Devoted Member of the Roman Catholic Church and the dear husband of Mrs Chinyere Dozie, who was his acknowledged main pillar of support in life, died on April 8, 2025, a day before his 86th birthday, and will be laid to rest today at Egbu, Owerri, Imo State, after a Funeral Mass at the Assumpta Cathedral, Owerri.
A Night of Tributes to celebrate the Life and Times of PGD took place at the Eko Convention Center, Victoria Island, Lagos on 28th April, 2025. In attendance were Family, Friends and Associates of PGD. It was indeed a gathering of Who is Who in Nigeria’s Private Sector, his main constituency during his lifetime. The Chief Representative of the Public Sector was Dr. Jumoke Oduwole, Minister of Industry, Trade and Investment. NESH Foundation was in attendance to join other well meaning people in paying our last respects to an outstanding and uncommon Nigerian Entrepreneur whom NESH Foundation in 2018 recognized as a NESH Titan, a special honor bestowed on Nigerian entrepreneurs above 70 years, who had made significant impact in a sector of the Nigerian economy. Most of the Speakers at the Night of Tributes affirmed what we had earlier known about PGD, which was that he was a *Rare*,*Uncommon,Visionary, Godly, Humble, Trustworthy and Very Impactful Nigerian Entrepreneur.*
Nda Pascal, Rest in Perfect Peace. We believe that from your good deeds while on earth, you will be in heaven with God, your Creator, and will most likely be sharing the same house in heaven with your friend and Kinsman, Mr. G. J. Amadi, the Oga of the Founder of NESH Foundation, while waiting for Chinyere & Dora, your wives, to join both of you in heaven at God’s appointed time.
