The Federal Government has announced the reduction of internet data prices by more than 50 percent and directed the National Communications Commission (NCC) to put measures in place to effect the change.
Njenje Media News reports that the Minister of Communications and Digutal Economy, Dr Isa Pantami in a statement said the price of days of 1GB has been reduced from N1000 to N487 beginning from November last month and had further directed the regulatory agency (NCC) to begin moves to reduce the average cost of internet data in the country.
