Nigerian Arrested In Pakistan With Six Fake UN Passports

The Pakistan Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) said on Wednesday, December 9 2020 that it had arrested a Nigerian national over possession of six fake passports of the United Nations.

Njenje Media News gathered that the Nigerian man had visited the Turkish Embassy in Islamad few days back to apply for a visa with the fake UN passport and ID and during the verification process, the embassy discovered the documents to be counterfeit.

Immediately after the discovery, the Embassy notified the FIA’s anti-human trafficking wing and the Nigerian citizen was apprehended.

The FIA also conducted a raid at a guest house used by the Nigerian in the F-8 sector in Islamad and found out six other fake UN passports and seven ID used by the suspect.

His Pakistan accomplice who is a national agent, Afzal Chaudhry was subsequently arrested by the FIA with the mobile phones of the two seized and sent for forensic analysis with the agency in the process of taking down the details of their bank accounts and assets in the country.
