Lagos Police Arrests 71 Fun-Seekers For Violating COVID-19 Protocols

The Police in Lagos State has arrested 71 Lagosians for allegedly breaching COVID-19 safety protocols, Njenje Media News reports.

Mr Olumiyiwa Adejobi, Lagos State Police Public Relations Officer, made this known in a statement on Tuesday.

He said the suspects were apprehended after the police raided two night clubs in Lekki and Surulere areas of the state at about 3am on Sunday, 3rd January, 2020. He added that 13 vehicles were impounded in the process.

Njenje Media News recalls that the Lagos State Government had previously closed down Cubana Night Club in Lagos for allegedly violating COVID-19 protocols.
