Major news websites around the world have shut down after encountering unexplained interference, making them unable to load, Njenje Media news reports.
Websites of news Organisations affected by the downturn include CNN, New York Times, Al- Jazeera and Others.
It is not immediately clear what is wrong with the websites but they went down earlier in the day.
The Al-Jazeera website is back up but CNN is still down.
