‎It has become necessary to once again address another deliberately manufactured narrative being pushed by political jobbers and constitutional illiterates, this time alleging that Mr. Peter Obi is not fit for leadership because he has changed political parties.

‎Let us be clear, there is absolutely nothing in the Nigerian Constitution, Electoral Act, or democratic practice that forbids a citizen from changing political parties. Political association is a constitutional right, not a crime. Those pushing this argument either do not understand the Constitution or are intentionally misleading the public.

‎Atiku Abubakar, Aminu Tambuwal, Rotime Amechi, El Rufai, and several other political actors has changed parties many times, some up to four or five times, without any moral outrage. Why then has Peter Obi’s lawful political decisions suddenly become a national issue? The answer is simple, fear.

‎They are not comfortable because Peter Obi has done what none of them could do, he opened the eyes of Nigerians.

‎He awakened political consciousness, exposed years of waste and incompetence, and gave millions of citizens hope that a New Nigeria is POssible. Unable to defeat him on competence, credibility, or character, they have resorted to cheap distractions and non-sensical narratives.

‎Peter Obi did not jump parties for personal gain or political convenience. He made a principled decisions in response to systems that refused reform, internal democracy, and accountability. That is not political instability, that is political courage.

‎A nation in need of rebirth does not require blind loyalty to broken platforms, it requires loyalty to values, vision, and the people. Peter Obi represents that loyalty. That is why he remains the clearest, most eligible, and most credible face of the New Nigeria movement.

‎Let it be known that these attacks are not accidental. They are coordinated attempts to weaken a movement that threatens the old order. But Nigerians are no longer deceived. They understand that ideas, integrity, and competence are what build a nation not party labels.

‎No amount of dragging, distortion, or propaganda will stop the march toward a New Nigeria.

‎ Peter Obi remains focused, Nigerians remain awakened, and the future remains inevitable.

‎You can attack a man, but you cannot stop a movement whose time has come.
