The traditional ruler of Okpella Kingdom, the Okuokpellagbe, Mike Sado, has revealed that he invested in a drone and recruited more than 100 security personnel to address rising insecurity in Estako East Local Government and surrounding areas.

Speaking with reporters, the monarch also disclosed plans to construct a facility for the Police Area Command to strengthen local security presence. He dismissed claims linking him to any arrest by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, describing the reports as false and misleading.

Oba Sado attributed the allegations to discontent among some individuals affected by recent financial reforms in the community. According to him, his administration has stopped the previous practice of sharing development levies, insisting instead on using the funds for infrastructure and community projects.

He maintained that the changes have already yielded results, including a significant rise in internally generated revenue from about ₦120,000 to over ₦8 million monthly, alongside visible improvements since he assumed leadership.
