There was a fire incident caused by an electrical fault at the Army Headquarters Complex, Abuja Tuesday morning, Njenje Media News reports.
While confirming the incident in a short Press Statement, Army spokesman, Brigadier General Mohammed Yerima, said the fire incident happened at about 10.15am as a result of a minor electrical fault in one of the offices.
According to him, the Army Headquarters complex is currently undergoing some renovation involving electrical rework.
The Nigerian Army Fire Service Department has since put out the fire with no casualty recorded during the incident and normalcy has since returned to the complex.
