A coalition of civil society organisations on the platform of the Northern Youth Initiative for Peace and Good Governance (NYIPGG) has described the allegations made by Jackson Ude against the Chief of Staff to the President, Femi Gbajabiamila, All Progressives Congress presidential aspirant Tein Jack Rich, and Seyi Tinubu as baseless and lies.
Ude had alleged that the president’s son, Seyi Tinubu, had affairs with Mrs Elizabeth Jack Rich.
However, the convener of the group, Umar Lawal, in a statement issued on Thursday, warned Ude to desist from raising baseless allegations against prominent Nigerians who had worked to build their reputation.
NYIPGG described the allegation as not only untrue but laughable.
It stated, without mincing words, THAT Ude’s allegation was not only baseless but an attempt to tarnish the hard-earned images of his victims, who all played vital roles towards the victory of President Bola Tinubu in the 2023 general election.
The statement noted: “Jackson Ude’s accusation of Mr Seyi Tinubu having affairs with Mrs Elizabeth Jack Rich is not only untrue but laughable.
“If Ude does not see immorality and harm in sleeping with married women, Mr Seyi Tinubu, a well-brought-up Yoruba man and a devoted Christian, knows it is sacrilege to have affairs with a married person, let alone a six-month pregnant woman, for that matter.”
NYIPGG said Ude should be seen as “a desperate attention-seeking person looking for every means of popularity.”
