Yoruba Nation activist, Sunday Adeyemo, popularly known as Sunday Igboho, has warned Yoruba individuals allegedly collaborating with kidnapping syndicates operating in the South West, saying such acts would not be tolerated.

Speaking at the palace of the traditional ruler of Igboho in Oorelope Local Government Area of Oyo State, Igboho accused some Yoruba indigenes of working alongside Fulani groups involved in kidnapping residents across the region.

“There are some Yorubas collaborating with Fulani groups in the kidnapping of our people and aiding them.

“I will kill any Yoruba person supporting and conniving with Fulani to kidnap in our lands; the judgement for such a person is death.

“Anybody that hails from Igboho and is supporting Fulani groups to kidnap people will not end well.”

The activist made the remarks while reacting to reports of kidnappings in the area. His comments came shortly after he reportedly gave members of the Fulani community in Igboho a two hour ultimatum to secure the release of a pregnant woman and her sibling who were allegedly abducted over the weekend.
