DMW henchman, David Adeleke, more known as Davido is billed to perform at the Global Citizens Live event on September 25, Njenje Media News reports.
Global Citizen Live is part of the once-in-a-generation day of unity across seven continents, that will be broadcast over 24 hours around the world on Apple Music, Apple TV App, YouTube and Twitter.
Partner television and radio stations across different regions will also beam the show.
It will feature several artists, activists, corporate leaders, and world leaders to mark a global recovery from the COVID-19 pandemic.
Performances from Lagos will be given by Davido alongside Tiwa Savage, Femi Kuti and Made Kuti, among others.
A statement by Global Citizen Canada reads: “Afrobeats icon Davido embodies exactly what it means to be a Global Citizen. WE can’t wait for him to join us in Lagos as Part of #GlobalCitizenLive – a 24-hour music festival on Sept. 25!”
The international advocacy organisation said local host’s TV personalities Ebuka Obi-Uchendu and Nancy Isime for the Global Citizen Live event in Lagos, Nigeria.
