Immediate past Chief of Army Staff, Lt. Gen. Tukur Buratai (retd) has said Nigerians do not appreciate the efforts of the Army in curbing insurgency, Njenje Media News reports.
He made the assertion on Saturday, February 27, at an event in Kuta, Osun State.
In his words;
“At the war front, many things happened and Nigerians are not appreciative. Three times I was ambushed and jumped into the bush with my men and engaged the insurgents.”
