Veteran Nollywood Actor, and Director, Abiodun Aleja is dead, Njenje Media News reports.
Aleja died in Lagos on Friday losing the battle to sickness. He had slumped at home a few weeks ago and went into a coma. He was rushed to the Lagos State University Teaching Hospital (LASUTH) and was revived at the hospital. He gave up the ghost yesterday after he was said to be recuperating.
He worked on several projects with colleagues Tunde Kelani and Kunle Afolayan.
The deceased would be remembered for his role in Afolayan’s ‘October 1’ blockbuster.
Chairman, Lagos chapter of the National Association of Nigerian Theatre Arts Practitioners (NANATAP), Makinde Adeniran, said the wife broke the news.
