Tinubu's Supporters Donates Relief Items To Flood Victims in Jigawa

One of the leading support groups promoting the Presidential bid of Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, *The Asiwaju Group (TAG)*, has distributed relief items to flood victims in Kiyawa, Miga, Kafin Hausa, and Hadejia local government areas of Jigawa State, North West of Nigeria.

The Coalition of Fulani Support Group for Tinubu under the aegis of The Asiwaju Group (TAG) paid a commiseration visit to the four majorly affected local government areas including other communities in the region. The items donated on behalf of TAG include bags of 10kg rice and other needed items to provide succour. The recipients were less-privileged Nigerians, who included widows and widowers, farmers, artisans, and community heads.

Speaking on behalf of TAG, the North West representative, Hon. Nura Mailafia commiserated with the people of Jigawa over the flood disaster.

“TAG does not only identify with Jigawa residents but the gesture is also a symbolic representation of the fact that Tinubu is a friend of the masses. Mailafia added.

“We are making a token donation of food items through The Asiwaju Group, and hope this will help bring some relief to the affected residents of Jigawa.

“We can’t afford to sideline our brethren in Jigawa State. It is our prayers that the victims of the flooded areas in these LGAs benefit from this largesse. It is also our prayer that within the shortest possible time, they will get back to their respective homes and communities to successfully continue with life.

He added that Asiwaju Tinubu has a history of charitable interventions that have positively impacted the lives of people across the six regions of Nigeria.
