The tech giant, Twitter has deleted a tweet by President Muhammadu Buhari for violating its community rules as it contains threats to the lives of Ndiigbo.

In the offensive tweet with the Twitter handle @Mbuhari, the president said, “Many of those misbehaving today are too young to be aware of the destruction and loss of lives that occurred during the Nigerian Civil War. Those of us in the fields for 30 months, who went through the war, will treat them in the language they understand.”

However, Twitter has deleted the tweet this afternoon, after massive public outcry, adding that it violated Twitter community rules.

There are no response from the president as of the time of filling the report.
