Why I Want To Succeed President Buhari – Umahi – Channels Television

GOVERNOR UMAHI PAYS TRIBUTE TO LATE SHONEKAN.

  1. It is with a deep sense of sympathy that I received the sad news of the death of the former Head of Interim National Government, His Excellency, Chief Ernest Adegunle Oladeinde Shonekan, GCFR who died on the 11th day of January, 2022 at the age of 85 years.
  2. Late Shonekan was a unifier and detribalised Nigerian statesman who spiritedly cultivated a wide array of international business and political connections and passionately deployed them for the best service of humanity. We will miss the free offer of his rich knowledge and deep experience; we will miss the force of his charming intellects.
  3. While we commend him to the perfect will of God, we assure the family, the good people of Ogun State and Nigeria of the compassionate considerations and best wishes of the government and people of Ebonyi State.
  4. Signed : Engr. Chief David Nweze Umahi FNSE FNATE
    Governor of Ebonyi State
