Rev. Ezekiel Dachomo, a Plateau-based cleric and regional leader of the Church of Christ in Nations (COCIN), has prayed for President Bola Tinubu and his administration during his ongoing visit to Israel.
Dachomo, who has been outspoken about killings and insecurity in northern Nigeria, has previously criticised the government over attacks on communities in Plateau State and called for stronger measures to protect Nigerians from terrorism and other forms of violence. During his Israel visit, he also drew international attention to the killings.
While offering prayers, the cleric said: “I am praying for the Jews, praying for Benjamin Netanyahu to succeed, indicating the entire nation including Nigeria, praying for Tinubu and his administration. Whatever seed planted against his regime in the name of Jesus, it has been uprooted.”
The prayer was delivered during his visit to Israel, where Dachomo also prayed for Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, as well as Israel and its people.
