Legendary Yoruba actress Folake Aremu, more known as ‘Orisabunmi’, has passed on at age of 60, Njenje Media News reports.
The Kwara born thespian famed for her white goddess role in Yoruba films dies four months after ex-husband Jimoh Aliu, more known as Aworo kicked the bucket.
Mr Bolaji Amusan, more known as ‘Mr Latin’, President the Theatre Arts And Motion Pictures Practitioners Association of Nigeria (TAMPAN) said she died on Tuesday night.
Orisabunmi gained prominence in the 1980s TV series Arelu, starring her ex-husband and others like Fadeyi Oloro.
