World Football governing body, the Federation of International Football Association (FIFA) has said eight new players with dual nationalities can now play for the Super Eagles of Nigeria, Njenje Media News reports.
The players had played for junior teams in England and Germany but are now eligible to represent the Super Eagles after notifying FIFA with assistance from the Nigerian Football Federation (NFF) that they were ready to play for Nigeria if called upon.
Here is the list of the new players below;
- Ademola Lookman who plays for Fulham FC in England.
- Jordan Torunarigha who plays Hertha BSC in Germany.
- Nathan Tella who plays for Southampton FC
- Tosin Adarabioyo who plays for Fulham FC
Others are; Ovie Ejaria of Reading FC, Noni Madueke of PSV, Sheyi Ojo of Cardiff City, Ike Ugbo of Cercle Brugge.
