Pensioners in Nigeria Pensioners are poised for a showdown with the government as they have threatened nationwide protest over what they termed the government’s insensitivity to their welfare, Njenje Media News reports.

The Federal and State governments were given 21 days to implement the consequential adjustment of pensions in line with the National minimum wage or face the wrath of the retirees.
