A lady, Olabisi, got the surprise of her life on Valentine’s Day when a mobile phone maker, Infinix Nigeria, supported her fiancé, Michael, to organize a surprise marriage proposal for her in Ikeja, Lagos.
Michael had emerged as the winner in the company’s ‘Win a Love Proposal’ promotional campaign. The brand then sponsored a surprise proposal event for him and his bride-to-be at an event center in Ikeja.
Olabisi was taken unawares as she was brought to the venue by her lover on the pretext that they were going for a Valentine’s Day dinner. On getting to the venue, she was greeted with romantic scenery.
The beautifully decorated venue, romantic setting, and luxurious atmosphere were all designed to make the proposal a moment the couple would not forget in a long time.
Surrounded by their friends and some family members, Michael then went on one knee and proposed to Olabisi with a diamond ring supplied by jewelry brand, Boz Jewelry. Expressing an array of emotions, ranging from delight to disbelief and surprise, she eventually accepted the proposal, stating that she had no idea Michael was going to propose to her.
Thanking the phone brand for sponsoring their proposal, the couple noted that they had been dating for nine years.
Meanwhile, the brand also stated that other lucky customers stood a chance of winning a N350,000 shopping spree in an ongoing promotional campaign.
Other sponsors of the event were event company Finesse Events, and the events center, Whitestone Place.
