Micro-Blogging platform, Twitter has said it has commenced negotiations with the Nigerian Government to resolve the impasse it had with it, Njenje Media News reports.
In a Tweet on it’s Public Policy verified page, the social media platform says it has notified the Nigerian government of it’s readiness for a meeting.
The tweet reads below;
“Today marks one week since Twitter was blocked in Nigeria. We have informed the Nigerian government that we are ready to meet for an open discussion to address mutual concerns and see the service restored.
We remain advocates for the free and #OpenInternet everywhere. #KeepitOn”
