On Thursday, the Ebonyi International Airport located in Onueke, Ezza South Local Government Area of the state, received its inaugural flight. The Hopper 5N-BXF from Air Peace touched down at the airport at around 3.50 pm, with 36 citizens onboard. This was a major milestone for the state, as the airport is set to become a hub for commercial travel in the region.
The governor of Ebonyi State, David Umahi, welcomed the Air Peace crew and passengers at the airport and expressed his delight at the event.
