I have studied the zeal and energy Nigerians demonstrated in ending police brutality through the endsars protest. In as much as this mark a significant development on path of Nigerians to stand against injustice and oppressor, i still believe we have much at hand to end it all.

The current political structure cannot sustain the gain we have achieved in this protest, so it better we look into the system holistically and improve on our demands. We have only successfully removed the word SARS from police, but we should know that the personnel that constitute the department are still very much in police system, so what has that change? Don’t be surprise to see the resurgence of these people in a completely different dimension, this time much brutal and unpitiful.

This is still the right time to achieve something through our demonstrations in order to have a good leap of our dream country. A complete and radical change of ideology should be adopted, preferably #endthesystem, to channel our energy and resources to end the contemptible political structure that encompasses the injustice, leadership failure that generally affect the nation. I’m not calling for revolution, but the sustenance of more buoyant, enhanced and nationalist demands that will set the whole country on a path of sense of belonging rather than angle of ethnic and political chauvinism through the protest. The current demand may seems to be combustible in sense that it lacks direction and deviating from its true intent.

This time a purposeful demonstration on demand for Restructuring should be at top gear. Nigeria present political structure is predicated on a wrong footings thereby making it difficult to ensue quality leadership and governance across the country. Restructuring laced with constitutional amendment will deliver good justice system, standard police system and good governance. Restructuring will ensure quality representation, proper check and balances and judicious utilization of our resources which pretentiously makes our demands in the endsars protest.

The Strong drive in our protest should be channeled to the National Assembly to begin the initiation of restructuring process and transmission to the president for immediate implementation. This i suggest should surrogate the endsars protest to a more intended purpose that will completely liberate the country from the present political quagmire that have saturated our collective will.
