Gombe State, Chinese Firm Sign MOU On 100MW Solar Plant

Gombe State government has signed an MOU with a Chinese engineering firm to build a 100megawatts Solar power plant.
This move is to reduce the state’s dependence on the nationalelectricity grid.
The Chinese delegation is a follow-up to an exploratory visit by Gombe State Governor to survey the Solar powered electricity system in China’s northwest.
The goal is to harness the abundant sunlight to reduce dependence on the national grid.

After signing the agreement, the two groups exchanged memorabilia.
The unique hospitality of Gombe and personal charm of its leaders were clearly displayed.
