Former governor of Enugu State, and current Senator, Enugu East Senatorial district, Chimaroke Nnamani has reacted to his expulsion by the Peoples Democratic Party for anti-party activities.
Nnamani who is also seeking re-election into the Senate under the PDP has been campaigning for Bola Tinubu the candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC) as he said it amounts to injustice for a Northerner to succeed President Buhari after 8 years.
The PDP NWC at the end of its 566th meeting had on Friday in a statement. approved the expulsion owing to anti-party activities and other grave offences in violation of the Constitution of the PDP (as amended in 2017).
Nnamani while reacting queried why there is no freedom of association anymore, noting that he’s unperturbed.
He wrote on Twitter:
“More curious! Is Freedom of Choice allowed? Is Freedom of Association allowed? Who are the habitual anti party purveyors in Nigeria. Give me a break. I own it with my FULL CHEST”
