Music executive and writer, Foza Fawehinmi, is set to release her book titled, So Far So Foza.
In a statement sent to Sunday Scoop, Fawehinmi said, “For many years, I had been keeping my story to myself, and just focusing on my work. But now, I am learning to live a life centred around my true self; and that requires me to share as much as I can about my journey, growth and purpose in life.”
The book which is published by Zmirage Publishing, dwells on Fawehinmi’s life, including how she dealt with the loss of her father, who passed away when she was about 11 years old.
According to the book’s synopsis, it offers a ‘gripping narrative on the significant difference between living a life of abundance to an excruciating life of poverty. From a private kindergarten, the author was deeply immersed in privilege; born to accomplish a great purpose and to seize the opportunities elite education affords.
“However, at some point in her journey, she became enmeshed in a life of lack, compelling her to choose between seeing herself within the lens of familial constraints or charting her own course to greatness; one move at a time.”
