The Managing Director and CEO of Njenje Media Group, Maazi Tochukwu Ezeoke, The Onyenjenje 1 of Ezinifite, extends his heartfelt congratulations to Dr. Adaora Umeoji on her historic appointment as the first female Group Managing Director of Zenith Bank Plc. Dr. Umeoji officially assumed her duties at the bank’s head office in Lagos on Monday.
The announcement was made via a video shared on Zenith Bank’s Facebook page, capturing Dr. Umeoji’s arrival at the head office. The video was captioned, “Dame (Dr.) Adaora Umeoji OON, Group Managing Director / CEO, Zenith Bank Plc, arrives Zenith Bank Head Office in Lagos.”
Earlier, Njenje Media reported that the company’s secretary, Michael Otu, confirmed Dr. Umeoji’s appointment, effective June 1.
It is worth recalling that in 2016, Chief Tochukwu Ezeoke and Dr. Adaora Umeoji were recognized in Ezinifite Aguata, Anambra State, by His Royal Majesty, Igwe Bob Chukwuma Orji, who conferred on them chieftaincy titles for their distinguished services to the community and to humanity at large.
