Nkata Ndi Iyom Igbo (NNII) Holds Inaugural Annual Conference On Women Participation In Governance

An Igbo organization, NKATA NDI IYOM IGBO (NNII), will be holding its maiden conference to promote women’s participation in politics and governance.

Njenje Media News reports that the conference themed: Enhancing Women’s Participation And Partnership In Governance and Development will hold on Saturday, the 21st of August 2021 with the mandate to canvass support for women for positions of authority.

According to the President and Founder of the group, Iyom Josephine Anenih, the program will help women realize their power and influence, which will, in turn, prepare them for full participation in local and national development.

The importance of female participation in leadership, governance, and development cannot be over-emphasized with the rising number of women recording success in these areas globally.
