Veteran Nollywood actor Yemi Solade has disclosed that he was once paid to pose as a cripple during a staged church miracle while he was still a student.
Solade said he was recruited to play the role of a cripple during a church service and received payment for taking part in the staged miracle.
“I have been used for a miracle then, when I was not popular. I acted as a cripple, they paid, I used the money to drink, then I was a student,” he said.
The veteran actor, however, declined to identify those behind the incident, explaining that they are still alive.
His disclosure has renewed conversations about alleged staged miracles and questions surrounding the authenticity of some miracle claims made during religious gatherings.
