A chieftain of the African Democratic Congress, ADC, Kenneth Okonkwo, has described former Anambra State Governor Peter Obi as inconsequential, saying he is not focused on discussing him.

Okonkwo made the remarks on Thursday during an appearance on Channels Television’s Politics Today while responding to a question about his position on Obi.

The former Nollywood actor, who was recently appointed spokesperson to the ADC’s 2027 presidential candidate, Atiku Abubakar, dismissed Obi as irrelevant to the political conversation.

“I have just been appointed the spokesperson of Atiku Abubakar, so Obi is inconsequential in whatever he is doing in his life. May we proceed to talk about more important issues?

“I want to talk about contenders in 2027, I don’t want to talk about pretenders. Can you bring down somebody who is already down ?”

DAILY POST recalls that Atiku Abubakar, the ADC’s presidential candidate for the 2027 general elections, announced Okonkwo’s appointment as his spokesperson on Thursday.
