Minna, Niger State – The former Governor of Anambra State and Labour Party presidential candidate in the 2023 general elections, Mr. Peter Obi, paid a New Year visit to the former military president, General Ibrahim Badamasi Babangida (rtd), at his residence in Minna, Niger State.
Mr. Obi described the elder statesman as a father figure and a leader whose wisdom and perspectives remain invaluable to Nigeria’s progress. The visit provided an opportunity for Obi to extend New Year greetings and engage in a meaningful exchange of ideas on pressing national issues.
Sharing details of the visit, Peter Obi said:

Accompanied Obi in the trip were High chief Peter Ameh, an Obidient leader and Nana Kazaure, former spokesperson of the ObiDatti campaign.
