The Nigeria & Entrepreneurship Summit & Honors (NESH) Foundation in continuation of its advocacy for the setting up of a 1 Trillion Naira Nigeria SME Industry Equity Fund for SMEs by the Federal Government to be professionally managed by the Nigeria Sovereign Investment Authority (NSIA), paid a visit to the Senate President, His Excellency, Senator Ahmad Ibrahim Lawan, Ph.D,CON in his office at the National Assembly.
Njenje Media News reports that the meeting had in Senator Enyinnaya Abaribe, Senate Minority Leader and Founder, Made in Aba Trade Fair, Abuja. During the visit, Founder, NESH Foundation, Mr. Emeka Ugwu-Oju, presented to the Senate President, the Communique issued at the end of the 5th NESH-NXT Annual Conference for Young Nigerian Entrepreneurs, which endorsed the proposed Fund.
NESH also paid a visit to the Minister of Finance,Budget and National Planning, Federal Government of Nigeria, Zainab Shamsuna Ahmed, in her office at Abuja.
At the visit, the Founder, NESH Foundation, Mr. Emeka Ugwu-Oju, presented to the Honorable Minister the Communique issued at the end of the 5th NESH-NXT Annual Conference for Young Nigerian Entrepreneurs, which endorsed the proposed Fund.
