Suspected Fulani Herdsmen Ambush Yewa-North Ogun Villagers, Kill Two

Two villagers have been killed in an ambush by gunmen suspected to be Fulani Herdsmen in Yewa North Local Government area of Ogun State, Njenje Media News reports.

According to PUNCH, the suspected herdsmen reportedly laid an ambush for the villagers around 5am on the Owode Ketu-Ijoun-Tata Road and killed two of them.

A resident of the village simply identified as Gbenga told PUNCH correspondent that two villagers were killed in the ambush by the herdsmen.

He said;

“Herders went to lay an ambush for people in my village, Owode-Ketu around 5am this morning.

“Two corpses of locals have been found.

“Police from Eggua have evacuated the corpses.”
