Napoli have stepped up interest in Bright Osayi-Samuel after holding talks with Turkish Super Lig giants, Fenerbahce.
The Serie A leaders are keen to bolster their squad when the transfer window reopens in January and have identified the versatile wing-back as a key target.
Osayi-Samuel has expressed his desire to leave Fenerbahce after losing his place in the starting line-up this season.
According to Turkish news outlet, Haberport, Napoli have started talks with Fenerbahce with a view to signing Osayi-Samuel next month.
The 24-year-old joined Fenerbahce in 2021 from Sky Bet Championship club, Queens Park Rangers.
The player is under contract with the Yellow Canaries until 2025.
Osayi-Samuel made his debut for the Super Eagles of Nigeria in the 4-0 friendly defeat to La Selecao of Portugal last month.
