The gubernatorial candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, in Ebonyi State Mr Ifeanyi Chukwuma Odii has declared that the party is not afraid of Ebubeagu security operatives, Njenje Media News reports.
Odii, who spoke to party stakeholders and its teeming supporters in Abakaliki, capital of Ebonyi State, noted that the main opposition party is sure of winning all elections without rigging.
The gubernatorial candidate, however, tasked party members to work harder to ensure that PDP takes over governance of the state at the 2023 general election.
According to him: “No other political party who are not on ground, can go through what PDP in Ebonyi State experienced a few months ago and still survived it. Only PDP is capable of moving into the government house at come 2023 general election.
“PDP are not afraid of Ebubeagu security operatives, we are not afraid of gun and cutlass because we have God. I declare my committed efforts to ensure that I take proper care of all party members when we come to power in 2023.”
Odii further avowed: “The party is the major organ of winning elections. I know that God will help us to win in the forthcoming general election. PDP has come together as one family and that has come to an end of any disagreement. We have reconciled all stakeholders and big men, and our elders are all now together.”
He urged the people of the state that “it’s now time for us to work.”
He stressed: “It’s time for all party men and women to deliver for PDP the Presidency, governorship and all other positions. In the end, we will win our elections without rigging.”
