Bill Gate and wife, Melinda Gates are getting divorced after 27 years of marriage, Njenje Media News reports.
According to a Tweet from Melinda Gate’s Twitter handled monitored by Njenje Media News, the couple say they no longer believe they can “grow together as a couple”
The tweet reads, “After a great deal of thought and a lot of work on our relationship, we have made the decision to end our marriage,” the two said in a statement posted on Twitter. “We have raised three incredible children and built a foundation that works all over the world to enable all people to lead healthy, productive lives.”
Njenje Media News recalls, that the two met in the late 1980s when Melinda joined Bill’s Microsoft firm, and they are the most influential philanthropists in the world. Both have three children.
