Suspected Boko Haram members on Tuesday evening attacked Damask, Headquarters of Mobbar Local Government Area of Borno State, and hoisted its flag in strategic places in the town, affirming their hold on the community, Njenje Media News reports.
According to reports, the armed insurgents wreaked havoc on residents without confrontation and razed down the Divisional Police Command, Schools, Shops, and Residential houses as they hoist their flags in strategic locations.
The Nigerian army is yet to respond to the latest development.
