Njenje Media News – The Israeli Air Force (IAF) launched a series of airstrikes on military targets in Yemen controlled by the Houthi terrorist regime, in direct response to recent attacks on Israel. The targets included critical infrastructure such as power plants and a seaport, reportedly used by the Houthis to facilitate the transfer of Iranian weapons into the region. In addition to military supplies, oil shipments were also disrupted by the strikes.
The Houthis, operating with Iranian support and in coordination with Iraqi militias, have escalated their efforts over the past year to destabilize the region, attack Israel, and disrupt global maritime navigation.
In a statement, the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) affirmed their determination to continue taking decisive action—whether near or far—to neutralize any threats to the security and safety of Israeli citizens.
