Sad day in Aguata Local Government Area of Anambra state, as Unknown Gunmen this morning, Tuesday 8th of February 2022 raided Aguata, killing a traffic warder at Ekwuluobia, and a petrol attendant at Ezinifite, a neighbouring town to Ekwuluobia, the LGA Headquarters, NjenjeMediaNews reports.
According eye witness who spoke to NjenjeMediaNews reporter, he narrated that an unnamed male officer of the Anambra Traffic Management Agency (ATMA) was gunned down from behind while regulating traffic at the always-busy Ekwulobia junction that connects Nanka, Isuofia and Ekwuluobia/Nkpologwu/Ezinifite/Uga road.
Another incident occurred at Ezinifite, in the same Aguata LGA as a petrol attendant was gunned down in cool blood by men believed to be from same Unknown Gunmen along IgboUkwu/Ezinifite/Uga road.
NjenjeMediaNews recall that unknown Gunmen yesterday attacked soldiers at Udoma, a border community to Ebonyi state killing one soldier and setting their vehicle on fire. See the video below
