Chief Iwuanyanwu, affectionately known as Ahaejiagamba Ndigbo, served as the President General of Ohanaeze Ndigbo Worldwide since April 30, 2023. His tenure marked a significant transformation for the organization. Dr. Chiedozie Alex Ogbonnia, the National Publicity Secretary of Ohanaeze Ndigbo, praised Iwuanyanwu’s leadership, noting his strategic and visionary approach, which elevated the organization to new heights (Ogbonnia, 2024).
A distinguished entrepreneur and philanthropist, Iwuanyanwu’s contributions extended beyond his leadership role. His remarkable achievements earned him numerous national and international honors, including Member of the Federal Republic (MFR), Officer of the Federal Republic (OFR), and Commander of the Federal Republic (CFR) (Nigerian Honors, 2024).
The Ohanaeze Ndigbo has expressed its heartfelt condolences to Chief Iwuanyanwu’s family and the wider community.
