The media adviser to the presidential candidate of the Labour Party, Peter Obi has dismissed the viral report that says his principal and his vice, Yussuf Datti will be on CNN for a special interview, NjenjeMediaNews reports.
Valentine Obienyem, reacting to the viral video noted that the duo are not expected to be on CNN on the 13th of August 2022 as claimed in the video.
He described the video as “FakeNews”, and urged the general public to ignore the report.
The statement made available to NjenjeMediaNews reads in part, “The above mentioned news, which says that Christiana Amanpour would play host to Mr. Peter Obi and his Deputy, Dr. Datti Ahmed on CNN on the 13th of August, 2022 as being circulated on some social media platforms is not true. No discussion has, or is being planned to be opened on that subject matter for now.”
