The minister of Defence, Bashir Magashi alongside service chiefs have arrived Maiduguri the Borno state Capital on an operational visit to the Theatre command Operation Hadin Kai, Njenje Media News reports.
This is the third time the minister is visiting the Theatre of war to assess the level of achievement made so far and how best to
restrategize in the onslaught against Insurgency.
On arrival, the minister alongside the service chiefs were received by the Theatre commander Operation Hadin Kai, Major General Christopher Musa and other top security officers.
This visit is coming few hours after Damboa Town which is about 88km away from the state capital was attacked by suspected members of ISWAP.
The visiting service chiefs are currently in a close door meeting.
