Former France international, Louis Saha has hailed England international Marcus Rashford, saying the Manchester United player is on the same level as Kylian Mbappe, Njenje Media News reports.
Mbappe has already netted five goals at the ongoing World Cup in Qatar 2022 while Rashford has three in his basket.
Saha reckons that the 23-year-old England star plays at the same standard as Mbappe, who many believe to be the best player on the planet at the moment.
“I really like Marcus Rashford…he’s such a talent and threat,” Saha told The Mirror.
“When Rashford has the eye of the tiger, he’s unplayable and at the same level as Mbappe…Rashford is just a humongous talent and I love to see him at this level.”
Mbappe and Rashford will go toe to toe on Friday when France and England trade tackles in the quarter-finals of the FIFA World Cup.
England recorded an emphatic 3-0 victory over Africa’s number one national team, Senegal to book a place in the next stage while France beat Poland 3-0 to qualify.
