50-year-old Wisdom Okoro has been arrested by operatives of the Lagos State Police Command for allegedly procuring abortion pills for Enobong Udoh, 38 his lover which led to her death, Njenje Media News reports.
The suspect was arrested by police personnel attached to the Ikorodu division of the Force on April 11, 2021, for the sudden death of his late girlfriend.
Njenje Media News gathered that one Blessing Pius had reported to the police that Enobong Udoh, was found dead in her house, along Igbogbo Road, Ikorodu, on April 11, 2021, at about 10 am.
The police operatives immediately swung into action and invited her boyfriend, Wisdom Okoro, for interrogation where he confessed that the deceased informed him that she was pregnant in February 2021 and he was in her house to check on her on Saturday, April 10, 2021, at about 5.14 pm.
According to Wisdom, while he was at her house, Enobong told him that she had terminated her pregnancy.
The Lagos State Police Public Relations Officer, CSP Olumuyiwa Adejobi, said the statement, and utterances of Wisdom, revealed that he had some questions to answer.
